Our Cat Condo and Catio rooms are the perfect choice for multiple cat families or single cats who enjoy a bit of extra space. As the largest of our cat accommodation options, these suites offer ample room for 2-3 cats to stretch out and explore. Each room features a window leading to a private outdoor catio area, allowing your feline friends to bask in the beautiful western sun during the afternoons. Conditions

Vaccination

Every cat must have a current F3 vaccination prior to checking in to Paradise Pet Retreat. Pets that have not been vaccinated for more than 12 months must be vaccinated no less than fourteen (14) days before checking in for boarding or day-care. By law; vaccination certificates need to be sighted by a member of the Paradise Pet Retreat team before your pet enters the facility.

Discounts

Families with two or more pets sharing the same accommodation receive a 10% discount on boarding costs. Pets staying with us for 28 days or longer also receive a 10% discount on boarding costs outside of peak times. For extended stays beyond this, we can provide a custom quote at management’s discretion. Please Contact us for a personalised quote. Please note: Discounts cannot be combined.

Medication

Our staff are trained to handle complex medication regimes; however, we are unable to administer insulin to pets. A small daily fee applies to administering medication. Please ensure all prescription medications are provided with the dosage label as prescribed by your veterinarian. We cannot accept medications that are unlabelled or loose. 

Food, Bedding & Toys

We provide Premium Royal Canin food, but if your cat needs a special diet you are most welcome to bring it with you.
All of our guest rooms offer comfortable bedding for ultimate relaxation, split levels to climb throughout, and scratching poles and toys to stay entertained. You are more than welcome to bring additional bedding and comforters.

What is the difference between the various Cat suites?

Standard Rooms: These cozy spaces are just right for one lucky cat, offering plenty of room to stretch out and relax.
Paradise View Rooms: Designed for up to two cats, these rooms come with a sunny window spot where your kitties can enjoy sunbathing and watch the world go by.
Condo/Catio Rooms: The ultimate in feline luxury! Spacious enough for up to three cats, these suites include an indoor area and a fantastic outdoor Catio. Your cats can bask in the sun and breathe in fresh air while staying safe and secure in their own private paradise.

Can all my pets stay in the same suite?

Yes, we can board your pets of the same species together in the same suite, as space allows.
Standard Rooms: 1 cat
Paradise View Rooms: Up to 2 cats
Condo/Catio Rooms: Up to 3 cats

What vaccinations and other treatments do my pets require?

Vaccination: Every cat must have a current F3 vaccination before checking in. Flea and Worm Treatments: All pets must have had recent flea and worm treatment not more than 1 month before check-in as per the Code of Practice for Boarding Kennels and Catteries. Any pets coming into Paradise Pet Retreat that are found to have fleas or worms will receive immediate treatment at the cost of the owner. We are located in a known tick area, so we highly recommend that your animals be treated for ticks no more than 1 month before check-in.

Does my pet need to be desexed to stay?

No, your cats don't need to be desexed to stay with us! Since we don’t socialise cats between different families, there's no need to worry about their desexing status. 

Do I need to bring my cats food?

We provide Premium Royal Canin food, but if your cat needs a special diet you are most welcome to bring it with you.

Can my pet play with others?

No, your cat won’t play with other cats, as we don’t socialise cats outside of their own families. Each cat will have their own space to relax and enjoy their stay.







What are your check in and check out times?

Our opening hours for drop-off and pick-up: 
Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM & 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM 
Saturday: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM 
Sunday: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM 

Can I come to look around the facility prior to booking?

We offer inspections by appointment on Tuesday through Thursday at 9:30 AM. Click here to enquire. Please note that inspections are not available during school holidays due to peak activity. We kindly ask that you do not bring your pet to the inspection. If these times are not suitable, please contact our office to arrange an alternative.

Do you have a minimum stay?

During the school holidays / peak times we do have a minimum 4 day stay.

Can I go to the suite that my pet is staying in and settle them in?

To minimise disruptions to our other guests, clients are not permitted to accompany their pets to their suites. However, inspections are always welcome before your pet’s arrival if you’d like to see where they’ll be staying. Click here to book an inspection.

Why do I have to pay for my booking in full at the time of booking?

Over the past few years, the demand for our service has increased significantly and along with this we have experienced an increase in customers making bookings far in advance, so they don’t ‘miss out’ and then cancelling last minute. While we understand that plans can change, these last-minute cancellations have posed significant challenges for us as a business.
Not only is it extremely hard to fill these rooms at the last minute, but it also impacts the experience of other customers who may have been turned away due to the lack of availability.
By requiring upfront payment, we're asking for a financial commitment from our customers to confirm their booking. This helps us to ensure all confirmed bookings have a genuine intention of following through with the booking.
If cancellations are required, our Cancellation and Refund Policy applies.

What if my plans change, will I get a refund?

As per our Cancellation and Refund Policy, when 30 days’ notice is given, a full refund is given minus a $32.00 administration fee. If less than 30 days but more than 3 days’ notice is given, a 50% refund is returned minus a $32.00 administration fee. If less than 3 days’ notice is given, no refund is applicable.

Do you offer Payment Plans?

Yes, we offer Payment Plans for bookings over $1000.00. Contact us to enquire further.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can! Our accommodation books out very quickly for weekends and school holidays. We recommend booking at least ten months in advance for Christmas and Easter, three months for School Holidays and long weekends and one month for all other weekends.

Can you send me a photo of my pet?

We offer an ePostcard service that enables you to stay connected with your pet during their stay. We will email you a series of photos while also providing a written update on how they are enjoying their time with us. This can be added to your booking under 'Extras'.

Can I check on my pet while I am away?

We’re always happy to provide updates on your pet while you're away. Rest assured, if we have any questions or concerns, we’ll contact you or your emergency contact immediately. The easiest way to request an update is to email us at stay@paradisepetretreat.com.au, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

These packages are aimed at enriching the cats' experience beyond basic care, providing mental and physical stimulation to ensure they have a fulfilling stay with us. 

What happens if my pet becomes unwell during their stay?

All pets are health checked daily and we will contact you, your emergency contact or your vet if any concerns arise.

Is there someone there at night?

Yes, our Facility Managers live on-site.
